OT You know, watching the American car companies fumble so badly with their mix of vehicles really reinforces the whole 70s scenario in my mind. Absolutely NO innovations in fuel efficiency from the US.

Bush lacks a decent hybrid plan. RE: "I attended a public meeting on the Bush energy policy" And I've visited DOE in the past.
