NEW YORK, May 16, 2005 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Ramp Corporation (RCO, Trade) today announced it has signed an agreement with Halco Life Safety Systems, of Houston, TX, to distribute CarePoint and CareGiver to Halco's hospital, long term care and physician practice clients in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and New Mexico. Ramp Corporation, through its wholly-owned HealthRamp subsidiary, develops and markets the CarePoint and CareGiver healthcare information technology suites.

"The ease with which CarePoint interfaces with existing electronic health records and practice management systems allows it to be marketed as a standalone application. CarePoint fills the void by providing physicians with a much-needed clinical tool, available at the point-of-care and outside of their offices. CareGiver represents a meaningful innovation in bringing long-term care facilities into the 21st century from an information technology perspective," stated Marjorie Adams, President of Halco Life Safety Systems. "We are pleased to be able to offer both CarePoint and CareGiver to our existing customer base as a complement to our product line of communication systems in the healthcare setting. The potential markets for both technologies appear to be very large, so we are excited to be able to establish this relationship with Ramp at this time," concluded Adams.

"This new relationship with Halco Life Safety Systems continues to expand our efforts to develop strong reseller programs for both our CareGiver and CarePoint technology suites. Through our relationship with Halco, we will begin to establish our presence and the foundation for future growth in Texas and its surrounding states. Halco is an excellent partner for Ramp in that they have complementary services to ours and already have entry to many potential customers for both CarePoint and CareGiver technologies," stated Andrew Brown, Ramp CEO and President.

Ramp Corporation, through its wholly owned HealthRamp subsidiary, markets the CareGiver and CarePoint suite of technologies. CareGiver allows long term care facility staff to easily place orders for drugs, treatments and supplies from a wireless handheld PDA or desktop Internet web browser. CarePoint enables electronic prescribing, lab orders and results, Internet-based communication, data integration, and transaction processing over a handheld device or browser, at the point-of-care. HealthRamp's products enable communication of high value-added healthcare information among physician offices, pharmacies, hospitals, pharmacy benefit managers, health management organizations, pharmaceutical companies and health insurance companies. Additional information about Ramp, and its products and services, can be found at www.Ramp.com.
