The Columbine weaponry was illegal. Existing gun ownership and usage laws would have been sufficient, if enforced.

We weren't talking about Columbine. You throw that out there like it should be the DE FACTO reason for gun control. In all honesty, those kids had to break into a safe to get the guns, they knew what they were doing, they knew it was wrong, they knew they were going to kill classmates and friends. The kids were at fault.
