Sadly, Iraq may be a lost cause under Bush, gradually so. Despite our great troops, they're largely garrisoned now and the Iraqi forces we've supposedly trained are no match for the suicidal terrorism and bombigs of the enemy. In short, most of that war has been mismanaged from the beginning. We support the troops but the management at the top has blown it.

Lesson from Vietnam, when you lie about why you are fighting a war, you cannot win, even against a smaller enemy.

Worse yet, we still don't even know who the enemy is or who is funding them. I wouldn't be surprised if the money and many of the insurgents come from Bush's close friend saudi Arabia.
