"You clearly said that a living human embryo was only potentially human and therefore it is justified to dispose of it like a piece of garbage."

I have never referred to the unborn of any species as "garbage". I have pointed out the fact that a fertilized egg is not the property or the interest of society and is a parasite which may be lawfully dealt with by the host. I have further said that I do not support abortions but I recognize that many eggs are fertilized by accident or by rape--and are unwanted for these or other reasons. I support the RIGHTS of women to deal with unwanted cells in their body and to discontinue life support--especially for creatures without sentience and with no fundamental relationship or resemblance to human persons.

"I never indicated any such misunderstanding."

You did and it is all in the record.

"That "we are all stardust" is just crap, and plainly a bad argument. If you can kill a fetus based on the fact that it is only made of star dust then you can kill all the Jews"

Don't make misleading and stupid comments. I am getting tired of asking you to fly straight. The fact that we all come from stardust was introduced in order to support the position that everything has potential BEFORE conception--so that conception as "potential" is simply a red herring. You do not remove life support from a fertilized egg because it is based on stardust. Don't be absurd and intentionally obtuse. You dispose of it because it is unwanted and perhaps dangerous to your health--and because society and law have recognised that as a parasite it does not have rights--although it surely enjoys compassion.

You seem to think it is a simple matter for a "potential" mother to remove her life support from a "potential" child. As a man you are simply showing an insensitive arrogance.
