They are the "core" of the Republican party, their "block" presumably elected Bush, they know it, and they want their payback. It was all orchestrated by (rumored gay) Rove. So we've got these "religious" hypocrites, really political operatives, not a generous or spiritual bone in their body, excluding Democrats from religion. From being saved by Christ. I love satire, but this is beyond satire. It's a sign of the decline of our institutions. One of many. If I was a young person I would figure out a way to risk my future on another country, not the US. John
