My opinion is substantiated by real, verifiable facts. And it is also quite self evident. Anyone today who compares Bush to Hitler & fascism is going to be widely & appropriately denounced based on real, verifiable facts. Your opinion is flawed, baseless & completely unsubstantiated. That's the huge difference between our opinions. Let's review the facts in proper context. All relevant links below in chronological order. This thread is dedicated to exposing POV's & opinions that defy reality. I linked to a post of yours that linked an article of a cop using a taser to your Bush/Hitler "Heil Bush! You are still Welcome to post in increasingly Fascist Amerika" reference. This was an obvious case of a reality defying opinion. You responded to this post saying, I took you out of context, then you repeated your vicious, baseless assertion, "Heil Bush! You are still Welcome to post in increasingly Fascist Amerika". I asked how you made the grand leap from a cop using a taser to your Bush/Hitler slander. I asked you to provide evidence that Bush was linked to the taser incident. And I asked you for credible evidence to support your Bush/Hitler "Fascist Amerika" assertion. I also made the following reality based observation, "IMO, it's crap like this from the unhinged left that needs to be addressed head on. There is no excuse for such despicable lowbrow behavior." You responded as follows, "Bush is taking the US in a neocon neo-fascist direction. It is self-evident man." And you added some sarcastic BS to boot. I noted that you provide ZERO evidence to support either assertion. I reminded you that unsubstantiated opinions are not welcome on this thread. I asked you again to provide evidence to substantiate the Bush/Hitler assertion. Your reply was, "I think you are becoming delusional now. Perhaps you have now put on one of your tin-foil hats.... I was just stating my opinion on Bush..." You also obfuscated your original link between Bush & the taser incident. I reiterated that you related the taser incident to your Bush/Hitler comment & quoted your original assertion verbatim. Then I asked you, "So now tell me, who is delusional & wearing a tin-foil-hat?" Note: I didn't make any unsubstantiated opinion here. I simply made a logical querry based solely on the facts. I also linked you to a blog entry from a somewhat famous liberal (Roger L Simon) who quoted a Hitchens conclusion about progressive reactionaries where he said, "How shady it is that our modern leftists and peaceniks can detect fascism absolutely everywhere except when it is actually staring them in the face. The next thing, of course, if we complete the historic analogy, would be for them to sign a pact with it. And this, some of them have already done." You then made your "useful fools" smear at myself & "others willing to go along with anything Bush says are being useful fools themselves - to the Bush pro-war, anti-US crowd. Yes, I believe those like Bush are actually anti-American, anti-US. Those that go along with him fall in the same camp to me - hurting the US long-term." My response was to again remind you that personal attacks & unsubstantiated opinions are not welcome on this thread. And I asked you to cease it.
