Hunters have quite a selfish interest in the environmental activities they participate in. It would be interesting to see if they still participated if hunting were banned. These are really hunting advocacy groups, from what I've read about them. Forests are not my primary area of interest, and I didn't follow the spotted owl story closely. Perhaps someone who did could comment. So what about erosion and mudslides caused by clear cutting? Only if you want to talk about it. I don't want to get your blood pressure going haywire again.
