Well, yes, there probably are too many deer in lots of places. We have encroached on wild lands and removed their natural predators. Personally, I am hopeful that deer birth control will become less expensive and therefore more practical. It is being practiced in England; did you know that? However, at this point, with wasting disease spreading, I have no idea why anyone would take the risk of eating deer meat anyway. But it is the whole idea of taking an animal's life for pleasure that bothers me the most. I just think it is wrong.
