Ish, I know I don't want to eat animals being fed antibiotics, and being raised in pens where they can't move around. I don't need to know what you are doing to know I don't approve of that. If you approve of it, that's your business, but I do not approve, and I will not support it, and I will tell other people I don't. And it's not just because I think it's a miserable way to treat animals (although I do think that); I also think it's an irresponsible way to handle antibiotics, and it's really unhealthy.

I have no idea why you think what you are doing is relevant to what other people think about factory farmed meat, raised in conditions that I have described above.

"And you own how many acres out here? You've seen what goes on out here? Do you know first hand what the fuck we're doing out here?"

You have never really adequately explained why you expressing this idea over and over again. Everyone in a society has an interest in how animals are raised, what kinds of pesticides farmers use, their tilling methods, the potential of farms and dairies to pollute the water and land, etc. It is the most simple thing in the world to read about agricultural and meat raising practices, in books and on the web, including lots of scientific and government sites. You acknowledged that factory farmed pigs are raised near where you live, so that is no secret, either.

So why the attitude, anyway?
