I don't think you need to have antibiotics or pus. I saw animals in Scotland that looked quite healthy, and weren't on antibiotics NOR were they sick and/or pus filled. Is it your position that you must eat one or the other? Because that doesn't seem to be the case. If it is though, it makes a really good argument for giving up meat completely.

Are you saying that ingesting antibiotics through the meat and diary products you eat doesn't bother you? Do you realize that our public health and you as an individual are both threatened by antibiotic-resistant germs because of their use in factory farmed meat? This affects everyone, and it is everyone's business. Why should my loved one die of a staph infection because greedy farmers think only of their own profit, and companies like Monsanto create and push these products?
