Even the Beach Boys mentioned La Jolla Shores. Oh, there are many right wingers, but San Diego houses many generous people like the late Joan Kroc, heiress of that McDonald fortune, who is one biggest donors to various charitable organization.

Once my former classmate who lives in Boston visited me. I asked his wife where else she wanted to see. Her choice is to see the sunset at La Jolla shore. I said innocently: "you never saw a sunset?". No, she always saw a sunrise. You just don't stare at the morning sun, but you can sit there for half an hour and stare at the sunset.
