The religious right has the leaders of all three branches of government working for them and wants to attack and replace the judicial branch as well. We saw that clearly during the Schiavo case. They prayed for even conservative judges to die. Why? So they can replace them with Pentacostals and Baptist extremists who will do whatever they're told by "the church". Their church that is. Then they will dictate not only morality on their terms but all kinds of other arch rightwing principles. The religious right is not "the church". They are simply a very politicized militant minority. They and the oil business have more power over the GOP now than is safe. Much too much. In both cases it's a scandal and very bad for this country. Together we can stop both of these malicious forces which jeopardize our futures. But we need all moderates and many honest conservatives to do the job right. To put them back in their box basically and slam the lid.
