re: JF, religion is such a vague term anyway. For me personally, I don't view Christianity as a "religion," but more as a personal relationship with God. Plenty of other people regard religion as either a set of laws (Judaism, Islam, Hinduism), a way of viewing the world (Buddhism), or even an ethnic culture (Islam, Nation of Islam, Judaism).

I mentioned "the way you see things" because I realize many people have different views of religion. Heck, even my mother and father's views of religion differ widely (my mom's a Catholic, my dad's somewhere between atheist and Buddhist), so I should know.


Good post. I think we know nobody is wrong, and we don't know if anybody is right. So I'm willing to respect them all, as long as they are trying to improve the lot of mankind, and not competing for politcal power. That's why I donate to some Christian missionaries; they are probably the most unselfish people the religious world has to offer.

In the end, I think it's what you do, not what you believe. I think that's what the real prophets, Jesus included, were telling us.
