Kerry was 100% right on counter-terrorism and Bush mocked him. Jk said correctly that counter-terror is not primarily a military role but a police and intel role. We can nevre win by sending tanks after rats. They rarely show themselves and they move a lot quicker than the military machine. They also reproduce quickly.

Frankly, right now we have no idea who's attacking us in Iraq. That's the very scary part. It may not even be Al Qaida.
