I'm a bit more elderly than Uncle Al KBE was when he was going on about gold in the 1960s, and my ideas are now pretty much perfect. They are fine-tuned to high fidelity with reality.

What goes on in my internal model invariable matches what goes on in the external reality; Globalstar glitches, Global Crossing blunders, exogenous idiocies which come from aliens taking possession of my mind notwithstanding.

Which isn't to say I don't still have some puzzles where I have no idea what's going on but suspect that there is a LOT going. I can work on those.

I don't think he said that what he wrote was absolute rubbish. He disagreed with a particular quote in part of his Gold and Economic Freedom, perhaps because times and technology have changed, not that the ideas were wrong then.
