The modern day "Christian" sects didn't learn anything from the Jews and their refusal to believe that Christ was the Son of God. If Christ came back today there would be many "Christian" sects that would denounce him again if he would not support dogma that would agree totally with all their teachings. He might even say something provocative like all men are capable of entry into heaven.................God forbid he should be so loving of all men! ( tongue in cheek ) Amen! Your comments reflect some of the common hypocrisy that has generally existed in religion. Its often surprised me the positions that religions frequently take......."practice what I say, not what I do", or Jesus loves you "but only if you do x, y and z". That's always been the hypocritical if not humorous side of religion and so long as they sat in their own stew, it was fine. However, now, they have decided to flex their power and impose that mess on the rest of us. Apparently, they feel like Ten has suggested..........that they've been persecuted for their beliefs and they're not taking it any more. I suspect it will make things even more problematical in this country. ted
