I've read enough of it to know that this whitehouse is so hard up for softball questions that they'd forget about security checks and objectivity if they could find some dork actually as dumb as Bush to ask questions of Bush.

Vanity Fair big article on Gannongate. It's a bit of a fluff piece because they can't come out and say it, but the message is clear. And the gay escort ad photo is included in the article so let there be no doubt what the main story is. The message is, someone very high up at the WH ordered a gay escort and kept him coming as a phony journalist 197 times. Someone very-very high up. Rove level or higher.

This is a huge scandal, especially for the rightwing. If they don't police it, they're complete hypocrites.
