My view is that bush used his political capital up stupidly on issues like bolton, SS etc. But i do give him credit for acting on principle rather than like past presidents on the size of ones library OR LEGACY. He doesnt give a damn about the historians at least in the short run but in the long run he thinks he setting down markers on principle. I think he is wrong on this but again i respect what he is trying to do.

I agree. These are the guys who can say with a straight face that they brought honor and dignity to the White House.

It is impossible for the utterly shameless to be embarassed by anything.
