Being a European, I didn't do so well driving in California. I got three speeding tickets before you can say what. I got a letter from the Ca DVLA saying I was in the worst 1% of drivers there and maybe I should do something to clean up my act. I did, as the cops stopped me almost every day for a while. I learned how to not be stopped by the cops and drive at or below the speed limit.

Ca drivers and cops are OK in my book.
