The way I see the spiral is defined, price and time scale is meaning less, in other words, any chart should do.

Why do I say this?

Well you are placing the center of the spiral on a pt in time and price, then you manipulate the spiral such that it hits another place in time and price. Since the spiral is a equiangular spiral you could rescale the chart in time and/or price but it should always remain the same.
