It was an informative article. Here's a quote from it:

This is exactly why people like me refuse to give in to these terrorists. We know that the one thing the terrorists have on their side is an American public that doesn't have the stomach for a long fight. You are proof of that. But this President and most Republicans will tell you that we simply cannot lose Iraq. The consequences would be far greater than the cost of staying there another 5 years if need be.

Foretunately, I believe we can still have a significant drawdown by the end of 2006. Things have steadily progressed for the Iraqi government. A little while longer and they will have a constitution and more permanent gov't in place. Then we can start to minimize our presence. But there's still a lot of work to be done.
