Yes, I agree that the U.S., through the CIA, has been overly meddlesome in the Middle East in the past. It is the price we are paying today. But I refuse to throw my hands in the air after 9/11 and say, "Golly gee. I guess we deserved that!" Instead, I believe the entire world needs to know that there are consequences for attacking the U.S. They may be able to hurt us, but we need to send the message loud and clear that the retaliation will be tenfold whatever they did to us. And we have to be willing to back it up with force, not just words.
