So what would you consider a fair price for Dell? >>>

A good report like this one should be good for 7 to 9%

That would put it at @ 39.85

Its twice as good a stock as HPQ, which has a P/E of 17, so Dell could have a P/E of 34

Its not as 'hot' as AAPl, with a P/E of 40, so lets say 30 for Dell.

Its twice as good as IBM with P/e of 15, so Dell should be 30.

At this moment Dell is at $39.35 with a P/E of 30

I conclude that fair value for Dell is between $39.85 and $41.15 at the present level of the Nas.

They will probably adjust the trailing P/E based on this report and that may make Dell a bit more appealing.

In summary, with the two upgrades today, I think Dell will hold at $40 or above, but cannot tell how much better it will do.
