baz.perlmonk.org - an haplogroup map of Europe ... this is the male-line DNA, something about the Y-chromosome i think, while your interesting piece there is of the female-line mitochondrial DNA ... fascinating stuff, if it's accurate, note how icelanders are more irish than scandinavian ... also, back on-topic to the holy land, check out the similarities and differences between peoples present there ... sefardis have as much irish blood as they have bedouin, but the ashkenazis and palestinian arabs do not ... ashkenazis have a lot more pakistani kashmiri than anybody else in the vicinity, palestinians have the least ... still, there is a remarkable similarity among them all, eh

But the main site - baz.perlmonk.org - with its Little Ireland anti-EU theme, and the way the near-pure-green connaught circle is done, sort of bring out doubt in me about the overall accuracy ... but who knows, it could be straight goods, a lot of the patterns do seem to make sense given what we know of the history
