I disagree that the insurgency exists because we are there. I believe if we were to pull all of our troops out of Iraq tomorrow, the insurgency would continue, except it would be aimed at taking over Iraq so they could turn it into another theocratic Islamic state. That we cannot allow. The insurgents are mostly secular. It will turn into another Saddam's place before it will become a theocracy. The Shia would turn it into a theocracy well before the Sunnis. But who knows......maybe if 'daddy' US pulls out, his Iraqi 'children' will learn to fight the insurgents and win the day. Its called tough love! And its time to pull out! ted
