Yes, very similar. Back then people were extracting money from their home equity piggy to buy stocks. Now they seem to be doing the reverse. Oh well, I wonder when tulip bulbs will be the rage again?

seems to be easy to apply the same reasoning to Clinton's stock market boom that busted with a lot of people using credit to buy stocks...

Not even close......people are risking their homes, not stock.
