Sergio Power over Ethernet (PoE) allows power to be supplied to Ethernet end devices through existing LAN cables (data network cable). The power mid-span centralizes power distribution and back up without the need to increase infrastructure. Also mid-span power eliminates multiple cables to networking devices by injecting power on the Ethernet cable thus reducing installation cost. Centralized UPS (uninterruptible power supplies) ensures continuous power during power failures without having to install separate cables for individual terminals and devices. (Again reducing installation cost) It appears they (PDSN) have a patent on certain PoE products and that patent is being put to the test on more than one front. I’m not sure how much effect (if any) the patent lawsuits will have on the bottom line if unsuccessful. It seems they are a leader in this technology. Technically things are shaping up. P.S. Maybe Joe in Iowa can take his name back.

Sergio I know you have already seen this, since you pointed it out to me...late night, last night so I was just lounging. biz.yahoo.com We have been waiting for this for a while..Doing the math, if an 1800 inmate facility hits 1.5mm then all the facilities at 18,000 would bring 10 times that much????????? Not counting NEC Yamaguchie, NTT, AreoScout Ohio RFP, and the European project......YYEEEHHHAAA's all around. LOL Oh yeah, have we mentioned recently that the storage side of the business is profitable and generating some cash?? Ken
