The blue and white shot is of the inside of the balloon envelope as it was being inflated. It is on its side and a large gas powered fan is used to fill it with air. When it has enough air in it, hot air is added with the burners and the envelope moves from horizontal to vertical. You climb in, more hot air is added and woosh. You're flying. Umatilla County is in Northeast Oregon, about 100 miles from the Idaho border. The farm shots were taken just south of Walla Walla, on Powerline Road.
