The astrophysics quote might be some sort of description of a
psychedelic or psychic experience but of course such things do not exist, do they? At least not so described in these ancient scriptures.

It is very difficult (let's just say impossible) to square science with myth and folklore, but properly viewed, both myth and folklore have some value (when understood as that), just as science has value (when viewed as that).

Art and aesthetics and science(for example) do not all that readily fit together at their most obvious levels. But there are elements of each that have great similarity to each other. But only the serious practitioners of each of these disciplines would know and appreciate that.
