Any opinion on PDSN?

Sergio:

I think it looks good, but the stock isn't out of the downtrend coming from the Jan.H at 13.50 It was able to close above the resistance at 9, but it seems to have a heavier one at the 10 level.<g>

The reported cash position of more than $44M (or $2.50/share) is good and it doesn't have a significant LTD with a BV around $4 and insiders reportedly holding more than 60% with a short ratio around 6(around 11% of the float)

The PE ratio for the last 5 yrs. has oscillated between 27 and 155 and the forward PE around 22 doesn't look bad.

Their business of providing power-over Ethernet products looks good. I don't know what will come out of their recent suit against Phihong for "patent infringement".

The bounce in this past week from the L of 7.32 on May 4 could in part be due to their presentation at the Mandalay in Vegas where they provided a demo of their new 24-port 6024G, which
is "the first power over Gigabit Ethernet Midspan for VoIP and WLAN Environments".<g>

The stock may test support at the 8.40 or even the 8 level before trying to deal with the resistance at the 10 level.

I would like to buy some and add after a close above 10.55 <g>

Another stock of mutual interest may be DSCM.

As I mentioned, I sold some as it traded above its Jan.H, in spite of some insiders' buying.<g> (was going up too fast with earnings still on the red column and no projected significant improvement in the next year.)
