I bought it at Whole Foods- and I don't remember what it cost. I didn't really care- it sounded so good (it is a gold medal winner), and I was so supportive of the product, it didn't matter to me. We just don't use that much butter- so I could afford to buy it if it was 10 dollars a pound- although it isn't. I think it was about 4.69 for a pound- 4 sticks. The color is a deep rich gold. The taste is out of this world. I also recommend Normandy butter, if you can find it. Whole Foods has it, and some import shops. If you want to have some real fun, have a butter taste test sometime. My girlfriends and I have done that. If you have super good bread, and a bunch of butters, and some tea, you can have a really good time! Of course it might be more of a girl thing- I don't know.
