Quite the metaphor!

I read a few papers after your post because I found the implications quite interesting. Is the sodium / potassium cellular balance critical at that early juncture? Of course...

I use a "half and half" instead of straight salt because I believe that concentrating both salt and sugar are the two most significant factors in modern diseases. So if the original ratio between potassium and sodium is more or less 50/50....then people are quite foolish not to maintain that cellular ratio? Anyway...when I put sodium on my eggs or pork chops...I put an equal amount of potassium. I think that is very important. I think that our ability to concentrate food elements is responsible for much (MOST) of our illness. Eating concentrated sugars or salts is just plain stupid...
