We have been torturing Islamics, of course we have. Look at the thugs we assigned to Abu Graiab. Real psychopaths. What? You think the US Army doesn't have sadistic nut cases in it? Where would you go to make a living if you were a sadistic nut case who hated Arabs and you wanted to kill, maim and mutilate them legally? The question is, is such torture wrong? In most cases, yes, but there are exceptions. Such as if you know the man knows a secret which will cost lives if you don't find it out fast. But many who were tortured did not have such information. Throwing a Koran in a toilet might have happened, sure. Or it might not. None of us know.
