RE: IRAN Is the race for nukes more to intimidate these folks or gain worlds acquiesance in repressing them for a no first use of nukes pledge. Euros would sell those students out in a heartbeat, i suspect and the US would be under a great deal of pressure as well. The race for the bomb thus may be more a race against a ticking clock for the mullahs. So delaying them and supporting students may be the last best hope vis a vis iran.
