I dont agree with that. I think, much like China, there is a nationalist strain among the students that would react the wrong way toward that. Because they are rebellious pro-dem students doesnt mean they will always act rationally. The same chinese students who gave us Tiennamen also gave us hell in the the serbian bombing when we hit their embassy and during the plane incident. Everyone likes to tweak their rich uncle. We should continue the present strategy of allowing the euros take the lead with us being the Stick. UN sanctions would be next step. And we should do whatever we can to clandestinely aid pro-dem forces.
Having said all of this, it may not work and then we might not regret having taken your advice about bombing the facilities. Mike
