Yes but who would have imagined it 2 years ago. Or Libya rejoining the world. Or Syria leaving Lebanon. Or the Saudi's taking on their home bred lunatics at home. An awful lot of things have happened I think because of Iraq. 25 years from now will be the true judge and I think the world will agree at that point that we had it right. But we shall see.

Of course pulling out now and letting the place descend into terrorist hell as some would have us do would be the largest mistake ever made in the history of the world. Whether we should be there or not is no longer the question and to debate it is a waste of breath. The question now is do we finish and leave a peaceful Iraq or do we truly squander the opportunity of a lifetime and just bring our folks home and let Bin Laden and company have Iraq. Those are really the only 2 choices at this point.
