Indira Ghandi was assassinated by a Sikh for the alleged desecration of a Sikh temple, as was the General in charge of the operation.

There were also Sikh riots over this incident.

And I have read of Hindu riots over similar provocations.

What about communities rioting over the mistreatment of one of its members, or perceived mistreatment?

What about communities rioting over ball games?

Heck, there was even a war not too long ago over a soccer game.
