I think we're skirting so very close to the edge of losing democracy. When people who say things like, 'it's illegal to teach evolution in school' have the upper hand, we may have already gone over the edge and are just hanging on by our fingernails.

We're in a war and no one (including the press) seems to notice much. We're in record deficit and no one notices that either. There is massive voter fraud and deceit in the last two elections and NO ONE has gone to jail for anything.

Therefore, Republicans believe they have a mandate to lie, steal, go to war for nothing AND commit voter fraud. After all, they've done all of the above and have received nothing but riches and near absolute power.

Dems should be saying: Republicans are attacking the Constitutionally guaranteed right for the Senate to advise and consent. What part of the Constitution will they attack next?

American science is in trouble: smirkingchimp.com This on a day when Celgene may have discovered a cure for some cancers. However, those are scientists from the old regime, not the current faith-based operation.
