I think I had this debate with Ten before, he firmly believes in the mercenary class (not citizen soldiers). He equates soldiers giving their lives to your average service worker; pay them and forget them. Not exactly the WW2 ethic. But what do you expect these days? Give up the argument, he doesn't get it.
