Some on the far right are just as bad as hardline communists. What's the difference besides the fact one supports big corporate power and the other big state monopoly power? - Supression of the press - Use of propaganda instead of news - Militarization and xenophobia against foreigners - One-party one-faith type rule - Smear campaigns, spying and dirty tricks against opponents - Calling critics "traitors" to their country - Invading smaller countries - Secrecy and refusal to be open and honest - Intimidation, bullying and CIA/KGB tactics - Attempted supression of films and TV - Price-fixing and monopolies - Cracking the whip at the workingclass - Trying to limit education to an approved curriculum - State-run broadcasts not allowed to dissent - Covering up crimes and vices of their own politburo - Putting opponents in prison without due process - President/Premier gets whatever he wants - Reluctance to cooperate with other countries, the UN We're on the slippery slope.
