Re: Buying big oil for income - Look at a chart of XOM over 3 years, preferably with onw week increments.

Appears the excessive run up in XOM maybe gone, and it could return to the previous upward trend line. BP, RD, and CVX .

TOT, ENI, REP, and DVN are roughly similar to XOM.

Might be about time to edge into buying - oil going down and some of the oil majors turning up.

If appropriate, stop orders might be useful.
