This is why both parties are dead as far as I'm concerned.

The dems play along with the warmongers and say "Well of course the GUILTY ones should be tortured," without stopping to think that nobody has been proven guilty.

Both parties are war parties, the only way to keep your hands clean is to have nothing to do with either.

I'm supporting Hillary in 2008, but only in the hope that her election will result in widespread anarchy in the U.S.A.

Agreed and then some. Nothing sentient should be tortured. It serves zero purpose.

The American Military clearly understands that torture is ineffective. It's much more effective to play Mutt and Jeff, get the detainee's trust and have him or her spill the beans.

Torture gets people to simply say whatever the torturer wants them to say. That's it.

The US has descended into hell with its extraordinary rendition midnight private flights. It is appalling, it is a crime against humanity. Heck, idiots kicking and throwing chickens against a wall at Tyson plants is a crime as well.

Violence breeds violence and the 95% of the world that isn't us has a great deal more violence left over than we do.
