I don't know. Being environmentally conscious in a country that has almost no social responsibility and sense of stewardship for the land is a fairly nasty thing. We are a country of exploiters. If you look at the peerage of England, while you can say they are annoying and anachronistic, they do, at least, have a sense of stewardship and care for the land- rather than the rapacious sense of despoiling it that our government and corporations seem to have.
