Probably because we gave Newsweek too much credit as a credible source if information. Or perhaps because what they reported was not viewed as incredible by anyone, including those who criticize the MSM for being anti-Bush. Think about it. Not one of the bazillion bloggers who make it their life's work to berate the MSM saw that bit and found it outrageous enough to call it to the attention of the blogosphere. Not one of the out-to-get-Bush MSM found it damaging enough to Bush to trumpet it. Odd, that.
