"Her father is a scumbag and so is Belinda Stronach."

Then, there is yet another point of view:

"After watching the Conservatives destroy our government and waste time whining at the Liberals I am glad to see someone stand up and do the right thing."

Seems to me there was a great deal of affection thrown her way when she decided to run for the PC's.

It always seemed like she'd be a better fit there. Let's not forget what a complete embarrassment her leadership run was. Let alone not ready for prime time, she wasn't ready for the community cable station.

Belinda and the people around her exemplified style over substance. They thought that we should have more or less the same policies, just different people running them -- not unlike the transition from Trudeau to Mulroney in the 80s. No great loss, IMO.

I waited a few hours before writing anything... I would have been much less subdued... Now I'm just disgusted...
