Windy, I don't think that it's much of an option, I don't think there is much of a predictable sustained wind in this area. Solar is the way to go, I hope to explore that in more depth when we are there in November. It would have to be a local (or Chinese) technology...otherwise we couldn't afford it. Power is so cheap there, it's hard not to use it ($12/mo per village on ave.).
