"Mind you if I were I suffering from Alzheimer's .. it would be illegal in a moment of lucidity to end my own life... my life experience and views count for not.. a curious world we live in.."

Yes I have been in to visit my relations who were inmates of Seniors Prisons....
Life without Parole takes on a whole new meaning.....

I think there must be some way to legislate the right of the individual to determine his/her own fate.... I never want to be one of those "people" tied in a chair sitting waiting for a someone to change a diaper I am not even aware is dirty, so that I may continue breathing totally unaware of my surroundings or the fact that I am alive..... Yup, soon as I hit 97, I am gone, no messing around waiting for some fool reporter to come and ask me why I am still breathing, no cake with a hundred candles for me to try and blow out with no lung power, I am out of there at 97..... or maybe if I am still healthy 98.....
