I am more fiscally conservative than any of you rightwingers. On social and defense issues, I am a moderate. I am not for gay marriage at all. I am for a smart robust military, with an emphasis on smart. I am for common sense decency, but also basic freedoms. Where I am a liberal is that I want to get off oil completely as a #1 fuel source in the next 20 years. I am for protecting the wildnerness which is God's greatest creation IMHO (man is much too flawed). And I am for keeping religion the hell out of government, schools and the media. Where you get "lefty" I don't know. In fact, I was willing to go along on the Iraq War until I saw what Bush was doing. What appalled me the most was how poorly he prepared and did not learn from the lessons of his father. He should have worked with his father, the only man with the experience of attacking Saddam Hussein. He also should have listened to Kery types who knew what they were talking about. And finally he should never have lied to the American People. Big fat no-no in a demcoracy.
