Steven Good Conservatives shouldn't be smoking that 'grow-op tobacco' What is it that has persuaded you I am a "Fiberal"????? Although I am really fed up with the big C Conservatives and their addiction to harassing us about Gay marriages and Abortion, I did mention that at the St Catharines Nomination meeting last night the first thing out of the mouths of both candidates was their position on those two subjects. How will the conservatives ever get elected as long as they insist the two most important issues in Canada, are those two. One is a case of the Mostly right wing Christians trying to impose their own religious claptrap on people who despise them, and the other is a matter that most Canadians have decided was solved many years ago. And yet our boneheaded Steven Harper lets them babble away about their religious beliefs and not address the problems facing this country. Why won't Ontarians elect the Conservatives????? Because the Conservatives from that bonehead on the top to the newest candidates won't discuss the things that matter to Canadians like High Taxes, and poor roads and more money to fix what is broken and ensuring that the country investigates and prosecutes the Civil Servants and Liberals who have made this country look like a back water. Tony Valeri is interfering with Stelco's restructuring, and no one from the conservatives asked what he thought he was doing????? Harper isn't announcing policy, or saying what he would do differently except for his two pet issues, he is simply saying "Well if Mr Martin said you can have it, I guess I will give it to you too....." Rather than saying that perhaps there is a better way and then offering a better solution. Why didn't he assure the Premier of Ontario that he would look to equalise the problem with Equalization. That perhaps there should be equal money for immigrants and maybe we should be doing something about softwood lumber. Why isn't he demanding that American Beef Products be stopped at our borders until the problem is resolved?????? As long as the Conservatives want to act like immature religious Zealots they will be consigned to second or third place, and no one can say that the last couple of weeks were liable to show Steven Harper as a viable leader of this country. He's a clown, and a not very bright clown at that. And if there was an election tomorrow like a lot of Conservatives I will stay home till the leadership gets a grip or a platform, or a clue!!!!!!!
